2. The Itinerary
1. Day: Embarkation in Buenos Aires
The Argentine capital on the Rio de la Plata delights with European architecture, Latin American flair, and the sound of tango. Its 48 districts reflect styles such as Belle Époque, Gothic, and Baroque, inviting exploration. Arrival and embarkation from 16:00 to 17:00, departure at 18:00.
2. Day to 3. Day: At Sea
Enjoy relaxation and variety on board during sea days – whether in the spa, fitness room, or by the pool. Attend conferences, shows, visit the boutique or photo area. On the upper deck, sea views await you and, with a bit of luck, even marine animals. Your time off with comfort and entertainment.
4. Day: Puerto Madryn
Puerto Madryn is located on the Atlantic in the province of Chubut, surrounded by wild nature. From here you can reach the nearby nature reserve of the Valdés Peninsula (UNESCO World Heritage Site), known for southern right whales, elephant seals, seals, orcas, and many other animals such as penguins, guanacos, and maras.

Enjoy relaxing days at sea: Unwind in the spa, stay active in the fitness room, or treat yourself to sunbathing by the pool. 7. Day: Port Stanley
At the eastern tip of the largest Falkland Island lies the capital of the archipelago consisting of almost 700 islands. The former whaling port combines Victorian style with South American influences. Colorful houses, windy heathlands, and the whalebone arch in front of the cathedral give the city a very special charm.
8. Day to 9. Day: At Sea

10. Day to 12. Day: South Georgia
This subarctic island world rises between the Andes and Antarctica. It is home to king penguins, gentoo penguins, elephant seals, and fur seals. Highlights such as the glaciers of Gold Harbour, Fortuna Bay, or the huge colony of over 300,000 king penguins in Salisbury Plain offer unforgettable nature experiences.

15. Day to 16. Day: Antarctic Peninsula
This icy dream world fascinates with its silent beauty in blue and white. On Zodiac excursions and landings – depending on ice conditions – you experience penguins, whales, seals, and rare seabirds up close. Glaciers, icebergs, volcanic beaches, and research stations shape the impressive landscape. Walk in the footsteps of great polar explorers and discover the magic of Antarctica.
17. Day to 18. Day: Crossing the Drake Passage
If there is one sea passage that challenges visitors, researchers, and experienced sailors alike, it is the Drake Passage. It connects as the shortest route between Antarctica and South America the “Screaming Fifties” between Cape Horn and the South Shetland Islands. Cold polar seas meet warmer currents here, creating a vibrant habitat for diverse marine life. Majestic albatrosses and cape petrels glide over the ship in the strong winds – an impressive natural spectacle on your journey.
19 Day: Disembarkation in Ushuaia
Ushuaia, the capital of the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego, is considered the gateway to the “white continent” and the South Pole. Called “El fin del mundo” – the end of the world – by locals, the city lies protected by mountains and surrounded by species-rich plains. Here, where the Andes fall steeply into the sea, begins one of the most fascinating and remote travel destinations in the world.
