1. Highlights of the Route

On your expedition voyage, you’ll sail to the most remote corners of Antarctica and experience the adventure of a lifetime. The ice in the Weddell Sea is too thick to navigate for most of the year, so only a lucky few can experience this phenomenal part of Antarctica. Immerse yourself in polar history and sail to where Ernest Shackleton’s ship became trapped in ice in 1915. During the journey, you’ll observe massive icebergs drifting by and keep a lookout for Emperor penguins – a rare sight on any Antarctic cruise. This trip promises unforgettable moments in one of the world’s most fascinating regions!

2. The Itinerary

Your journey begins in Ushuaia, where the colorful houses and irregular streets descend the slopes of the snow-capped Martial Range and abruptly end at the shore of the Beagle Channel. As one of the southernmost cities in the world, Ushuaia is often referred to as the “End of the World” – and rightly so. The dramatic landscape and capricious weather contribute to the special charm of this city. You board your boutique ship and prepare for an unforgettable expedition to one of the wildest and most impressive regions on Earth.
You enjoy the tranquility at sea and the spectacular view from the observation decks. Use the time to mingle with other passengers or browse in the library. Exciting lectures by experts and photo tips from professionals on board offer additional highlights.
The Antarctic Peninsula is where many visitors experience their Antarctic dream. Here, impressive glaciers, huge icebergs, and snow-covered islands await you. The peninsula is the most accessible part of the continent and is home to both scientific stations and fascinating landscapes. During land excursions, you can visit Petermann Island, where you can see Adelie penguins, blue-eyed cormorants, skuas, and large elephant seals.
Today you have the opportunity to enjoy the many amenities of your ship. From the deck, you can admire the impressive view of the sea. Relax with a soothing facial treatment or massage in the spa, browse through the books and learning materials on board, or simply retreat to your cabin and use the time to rest.
