2. The Itinerary
1. Day: Ushuaia, Argentina
Begin your adventure in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. After arrival and hotel check-in, explore the vibrant port city and enjoy the local cuisine.
2. Day: Embarkation in Ushuaia
Use the morning for final explorations in Ushuaia. In the afternoon, you will be warmly welcomed aboard the M/V Sea Spirit, your home for the coming days.
3. Day to 4. Day: Drake Passage
The journey through the Drake Passage offers spectacular encounters with seabirds and whales. Preparatory lectures and briefings set the mood for Antarctica.
5. Day to 12. Day: South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula
Discover the breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife of the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. Each day brings new wonders, from penguin colonies to majestic icebergs and historic research stations.
13. Day to 14. Day: Drake Passage
On the return journey, seabirds and possible whale sightings accompany you once again. Farewell celebrations on board round off the expedition.
15. Day: Disembarkation in Ushuaia
After arriving in Ushuaia and breakfast on board, disembarkation follows. With unforgettable memories in your luggage, you begin your journey home or continue exploring the beauty of Ushuaia.
