1. Day: Embarkation in Ushuaia
Once considered too inhospitable for settlements, Ushuaia was the land of the indigenous Yahgan people. Today, it is the southernmost city in the world – known as the “End of the World”. Picturesquely located on the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia impresses with colorful houses in front of snow-capped mountains, dominated by Monte Olivia (1,380 m). The landscape ranges from dense beech forests to alpine terrain. As the gateway to Antarctica, Ushuaia is the starting point for many expeditions. However, the city itself offers exciting nature and cultural experiences with the Tierra del Fuego National Park and the “Museo del Fin del Mundo”.
2. Day to 3. Day: At Sea
A relaxed day at sea – ideal for resting, enjoying the view of the ocean, or discovering the onboard program. Perfect for recharging your energy for upcoming adventures.
