2. The Itinerary

Your cruise begins in Cape Town, a fascinating city nestled between impressive mountains and the vast ocean. This vibrant metropolis captivates with its multicultural atmosphere and a lively waterfront promenade that entices with seafood restaurants, shops, and numerous attractions. Visitors can take the cable car to the iconic Table Mountain, which offers spectacular views of the surroundings. Boat trips lead to Robben Island, known for its historical significance as Nelson Mandela was imprisoned there. At Boulders Beach, visitors can observe a colony of African penguins, while the wineries of Stellenbosch offer wine tastings amidst traditional Cape Dutch architecture. You board your boutique ship and prepare for an unforgettable expedition to one of the wildest and most impressive regions on Earth.
You have the opportunity to enjoy the many amenities of your ship. From the deck, you can admire the impressive view of the sea. Relax with a soothing facial treatment or massage in the spa, browse through the books and learning materials on board, or simply retreat to your cabin and use the time to rest.
Tristan da Cunha is one of the most remote islands in the world, with barely 250 permanent inhabitants, and far off the beaten path. The island is a true paradise for animal lovers. It teems with wildlife, including rockhopper penguins, the endangered Tristan albatross, and sea lions. The surrounding waters also attract a large number of whales and dolphins, making the island a fascinating place for nature enthusiasts. It is a unique place where you can experience unspoiled nature and wildlife in its full glory.
Relaxation and entertainment on board
South Georgia is often referred to as the “Galapagos of the Poles” and offers numerous landing sites where you can make impressive wildlife observations. Here you can experience up to half a million king penguins or three million breeding pairs of macaroni penguins up close – the largest population in the world. With a bit of luck, you can also observe the bellowing elephant seals from a distance. Another highlight is Grytviken, the historic whaling station where the legendary British explorer Ernest Shackleton is buried. This unique island offers fascinating insights into the wildlife and history of Antarctica.
You enjoy the tranquility at sea and the spectacular view from the observation decks. Use the time to exchange ideas with other passengers or browse in the library. Exciting lectures by experts and photo tips from professionals on board offer additional highlights.
The Antarctic Peninsula is the place where many visitors experience their dream of Antarctica. Here, impressive glaciers, huge icebergs, and snow-covered islands await you. The peninsula is the most accessible part of the continent and is home to both scientific stations and fascinating landscapes. During shore excursions, you can visit Petermann Island, where you can see Adelie penguins, blue-eyed shags, skuas, and large elephant seals.
Crossing Drake Passage
Disembarkation in Ushuaia. As one of the southernmost cities in the world, Ushuaia is often referred to as the “End of the World” – and rightly so. The dramatic landscape and capricious weather contribute to the special charm of this city. Here, the colorful houses and irregular streets lead down the slopes of the snow-covered Martial Range and end abruptly at the shore of the Beagle Channel.
