2. The Itinerary
Arrival in Ushuaia, overnight stay at the hotel and free time to explore the city.
Free time in Ushuaia, lunch in the city, embarkation in the afternoon and start of the sea voyage.
Journey through the Beagle Channel, preparations and lectures for the coming days.
Exploration of the Falkland Islands with their rich birdlife and visit to Port Stanley.
Crossing the Antarctic Convergence, lectures and workshops on board.
Intensive exploration of South Georgia, visiting breeding colonies, historical sites such as Grytviken
Return journey through the Southern Ocean, observation of seabirds and icebergs.
Landings and Zodiac excursions on the Antarctic Peninsula and the South Shetland Islands, observation of ice landscapes and wildlife.
Return journey through the Drake Passage, final lectures and celebrations on board.
Disembarkation in Ushuaia, transfer to the airport or city center, end of the expedition.
